AI policy
Where we stand on AI and published content.
How we use AI, and how we don’t
Articles, guides and clause explainers on Blue Flame are drafted with AI assistance and then edited, checked and fact-verified by people before they are published. AI helps assemble a first draft from our research and structure; it does not get the final word on anything you read.
Every figure is checked by a person
This matters most on a site about money and contracts, where a confident wrong number does real damage. So every figure we publish is checked against its cited source by a person, and every explanation of a contract term is reviewed by a person against standard trade practice before it goes live. Where reliable public data doesn’t exist, we say so rather than let anything — human or machine — fill the gap with a guess.
Why we disclose this plainly
Plenty of sites now publish AI-generated content and don’t admit it. We’d rather tell you exactly how the work is made: AI-assisted in drafting, human-edited and fact-checked in substance. If we change this process, we’ll say so here, with a date.
